Digital Artist
Giuseppe Bergamino is engaged in the research and development of new musical instruments and human-machine interfaces for sound control and production. His designs focus on multimodality, ubiquitous computing, and inclusivity for musicians with disabilities.
Acchiappasuono is a wearable digital device that allows the user to manipulate the binaural audio they hear through headphones. The system uses sensors to track hand, wrist, and finger movements, converting these into acoustic parameters. A pattern of micro-motors provides haptic feedback during the interaction.

Elastico is a web-based musical instrument that uses a hand-tracking algorithm (via a webcam) to generate sound and graphics.

Corde is a web musical instrument that uses a hand-tracking algorithm with a webcam to generate both sound and visuals.
Puff is a web musical instrument based on hand-tracking with a webcam, producing both sound and graphics.
Carillon is a sound device designed to interface with a complex generative system through a simple, intuitive gesture: blowing. Thanks to an anemometer, each user’s breath is converted into parameters that shape the sonic evolution, establishing an immediate dialogue between the human gesture and the musical algorithm.
MISMO is a musical instrument based on inertial sensors, developed with accessibility in mind.
This modular instrument is designed as an ever-evolving organism, able to incorporate sound generation modules, actuators (motors and solenoids), and sensors for data acquisition from the physical world, thus offering alternative and experimental interaction methods.
This musical instrument translates colors and light intensity into sounds.
